ANLoc

The African Network for Localisation (ANLoc or ANLOC) was the follow-on project to the PanAfrican Localisation (PAL) project, funded by IDRC 2008-2011. It continues as a network of localization organizations and initiatives in Africa and entities outside Africa working on the same issues.

Transition from PAL to what was to be named later as ANLoc began at the time of the PAL workshop in Tshwane, South Africa in November 2007. Bisharat! is associated with ANLoc.

Some more background on ANLoc and its activities is available on the PanAfriL10n wiki.

N.B.- The ANLoc website is offline for maintenance in Nov. 2013. An archived version can be viewed on Archive.org.
